Key Criteria for a Dynamic Home Page

Even if you don't get the majority of your clients from online searches, your website is typically the first place a potential client will go to find out more about you. A sophisticated website enhances your legitimacy and credibility and communicates your expertise.   

Most likely visitors will land on your home page. Your home page should motivate your visitors to learn more about your services and convert them into taking action. Some tips to accomplish this:

Focus on your main messages

Be crystal clear in your benefits to clients and customers,  highlight your industry specialities and how you stand out from the competition. Make sure the copy is crisp and brief! 

Showcase your key services  

Embed links in the copy to the services page in addition to listing them under the Services/Practice Areas tab in the navigation bar. 

Feature rotating testimonials  

Testimonials touting your expertise from satisfied clients work wonders. Don't bury them under a testimonials tab.  

Come alive through video   

I suggest adding a brief video to your home page to let your expertise shine through and enhance a sense of trust.

Make it easy to take action  

Direct visitors to call for a consultation and make sure your phone number and email are prominent on the page. Don't make them search for your contact information under the Contact tab.  

Don't lose them! 

Offer a free report to encourage email newsletter sign-ups so you can stay top of mind.
