Getting the Most from Your Marketing Materials

Although the world is operating more and more online, it's important to note that visually appealing, well-designed print materials that deliver a compelling message will enhance your professional image and bolster your credibility.  In developing materials to promote your services, you’ll want to include these main elements:
  • Benefit you bring to clients
  • What sets you apart from your competition
  • Main services
  • Brief case study
  • Testimonials

In addition to making your brochure visually appealing, it’s important to resist the tendency to include a lot of copy. Clear, concise copy is the most effective method to convey your message.  Use bullets or lists whenever possible and incorporate images to help tell your story and break up the copy.

Photography and Printing:
Photographs must be high-resolution images in order to print well, at least 300 dots per inch (dpi) for print. For a professional looking printed piece use a printing service rather than trying to print it in-house.

When it comes to print quantities, it’s important to note that the price per piece drops dramatically the more you print. So keep the information free of specific details, like employee names, that might date your brochure. This will allow you to print the largest quantity possible and ensure that your brochure will have a long shelf life.

Get the most out of your brochure by making a downloadable PDF available on your website.
